Lu Ann's Story
My story is pretty simple. I was bound and determined to get away from Grove, but here I am and have been since graduating from OSU.
I married the son of my dad's best friend, Bruce DuBois in 1992. My dad and Bruce's were best friends in high school and I have know Bruce all my life, spending time with his family when they vacationed in Grove in the summers.
We have a beautiful, tom-boy daughter, Tessa who is 9 years old. I also have a 20 year old step-son who is in college at Oregon State and a member of ROTC, currently inactive!!

d grade at Grove Lower Elementary, the same school where I attended first through fifth grades. A lot is the same, but a lot is different at the same time.
I spend a lot of time with my mother and sister as we have many of the same hobbies. Since closing the drug store, my mom has worked out of town and has a whole lot more time for her hobbies. Dad died in 1998 of lung cancer. A message to all my smoking friends - GIVE IT UP!!!
Life is great in Grove. It's no longer a secret. More and more people move here every year. Best wishes to all!!
